After having open heart surgery, Jackie came to stay with our Signature family as she recovered. In less than a month Jackie was able to return home with Rosie.
When Jackie was told that she would need a short rehab stay before returning home after her surgery it broke her heart to think she would have to be separated even longer from Rosie. After a bedside visit from our liaison at Mt. Carmel, she was assured Rosie was just as welcomed at Signature as her other guests and knew Signature was the best choice for her care needs.
Through out Jackie’s stay, Rosie visited often with Jackie in her private room and throughout different visiting areas of the facility, which are much like the warm environment of Jackie’s own home. Rosie was also a part of Jackie’s therapy that lead her to meet one of her goals of going from needing assistance to walking independently.
Jackie said that everyone was great to her and Rosie. She was so pleased with her care that she had recommended Signature HealthCARE of Fayette County to a friend who had a loved one in the hospital.
